Hi, and thank you for visiting WPdocs.io. This site was started in June 2022 as a document hub for myself when building WordPress websites for clients.

Theres many tasks that I do over and over again and just wanted somewhere to place these. It’s no use keeping these all to myself, so I thought that opening this up to the general public would be a great idea. I hope you find any info on this site useful to you.

So who am I?

I am Phil, I work for a small WordPress development agency. I specialize in WordPress theme and plugin development for our clients.

I have been working with computers since school when the internet was still new to me and everyone else. It’s always exciting to see how far technology has come.

I also love cycling and fishing which are some of my favorite pastimes outside of work.

Technical details of WPdocs.io

WPdocs.io is based upon WordPress (obviously). I developed this full site editor theme and it is available to download for free here. Im not going to be supporting the theme for those that download it.

The only plugins that are installed are:

  • Easy WP SMTP
    • This is used to send emails from this site to a dedicated mailbox.
  • Gutenberg
    • We use the latest FSE (full site editor) theme. Using the Gutenberg plugin allows for further functionality and is regularly updated.
  • Highlighting Code Block
